Beyond Van Gogh: An Immersive Experience Comes to Milwaukee
Milwaukee is no stranger to the art scene and the new exhibit coming July 9th to the Wisconsin Center is truly one of the most unique and highly anticipated events in recent memory – Beyond Van Gogh.
The exhibition will feature more than 300 of Vincent Van Gogh’s iconic artworks that come to life by appearing and disappearing, flowing across multiple surfaces, essentially allowing visitors to transport themselves inside of the art pieces. The exhibit uses cutting-edge projection technology to create the immersive experience that will delight the senses of visitors of all ages!
What to Know about Visiting Beyond Van Gogh

Beyond Van Gogh is a walk-through exhibition that allows for 6ft distance between all attendees, and includes increased cleaning practices. Tickets are purchased in time slots for staggered entry to limit the number of people inside the exhibit at all times. Visitors should plan on approximately one hour to experience the entirety of the exhibit.
Plan on taking your time and lingering in the exhibition space for a solid 40 minutes or so while the art changes around you.
Idea for Kids: Bring along a sketchpad and colored pencils for each kiddo. Plunk them in a different corner of the room and have them draw what they are seeing around them. If you have competitive kids, see who can create their masterpieces the fastest, before the scenes change! It will have them engaged and purposefully interacting with the art transforming around them.
