New IMPROV Comedy Venue at The Corners of Brookfield Set to Open in August 2021


It’s finally happening! We’ve been waiting more than a year to bring you the news that the IMPROV Comedy Venue at The Corners of Brookfield is opening August 20th, 2021! 

Though this will be the first IMPROV location in the state of Wisconsin, the comedy scene knows what’s up with this well-known venue. Since 1963, Improv comedy clubs have been the premier stages for live comedy in the United States. Over the decades, the talent who have graced Improv stages represent the Who’s Who in American comedy, including Tim Allen, George Carlin, Jim Carrey, Dana Carvey, Dave Chappelle, Margaret Cho, Billy Crystal, Rodney Dangerfield, Larry David, Ellen DeGeneres, Jamie Foxx, Arsenio Hall, Andy Kaufman, Jay Leno, Richard Lewis, Bette Midler, Eddie Murphy, Rosie O’Donnell, Paula Poundstone, Freddie Prinze, Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Silverman, Wanda Sykes, David Spade, Lily Tomlin, Robin Williams, and more. Today, the Improv remains the largest live comedy brand in the world and the most prestigious performance space for emerging and established comedians alike.

About IMPROV at The Corners of Brookfield

The 13,049-square-foot premium entertainment venue, located on the lower level of the northeast side of the town center, features two live performance stages with full food and bar service. Entertainment it will bring to the greater Southeast Wisconsin community will include some of the top comedians in the industry. The venue will also focus on discovering and empowering local talent through open mic nights, showcases and performance spotlights.

The venue’s comedian talent line-up for mid-August through early December shows will be announced mid-June and tickets will go on sale in late June. Those who sign up for more information at will have the first opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets for all Improv shows before general public tickets go on sale.
