COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:

It is our privilege to serve our community and to host 2021 summer STEM University camps in-person, on our campus. For the health and safety of our students, strict guidelines will be implemented. All students and staff will be expected to follow these guidelines or will be at risk for immediate dismissal.

  • Please note, UWM has a mandatory mask policy in effect. You must have a mask on to enter all buildings on campus. If students do not come to campus with a mask, one will be provided for them.
  • COVID Testing Requirements: Students and instructors who come to campus at least once per week, must be tested every other week. These requirements apply to all three UWM campuses.
  • Each class has a maximum of 13 students. No area or classroom will have more than 15 students/staff combined at any given time. All students/staff will maintain a 6’ distance at all times.
  • All classroom, lunch, and common areas and equipment will be sanitized daily and between groups. Sanitizing stations will be available in each classroom.
  • Families will self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. See the CDC’s website for more information about COVID-19 symptoms. In addition to this document, see the CDC’s website for more information about what to do if you are experiencing symptoms.
  • To minimize the number of people entering the building, pick up will take place outside. On the first day of camp, families will indicate to the staff what vehicle they will be picking their child up in. Upon pick up, students will be released to the noted vehicle. If it is raining, students will stay indoors until staff sees the pickup vehicle.
