The Ultimate Guide to Milwaukee Area Fireworks

Fireworks are integral to Milwaukee’s summertime culture. There is no summer without them! Below is a detailed list of the 2021 Milwaukee area fireworks shows, including festivals and the 4th of July. So grab a blanket, pack your picnic basket, and attend as many firework displays as you can!

Festivals

Pridefest Milwaukee – Canceled for 2021. Visit Pride Fest for updates.

Milwaukee Summerfest Big Bang – No information for 2021, though the event has been moved to September.  While attending Summerfest, stay for one of the biggest firework shows in town – the Big Bang! Visit Summerfest for more information and updates.

Festa Italiana – Canceled for 2021. How many cannoli can you eat? Regardless of the answer, Festa loves their fireworks and offers a show on both the Saturday and the Sunday evening of the festival. Visit Festa Italiana to find out all dates and times of their fireworks.

Family Fun Before the Fourth — June 26th, 2021. Mequon and Thiensville’s premiere summer family fun and entertainment attraction. The parade is at 10:30 am with free ice cream while supplies last after. Fireworks at dusk! Visit Family Fun Before the Fourth for more information.

Milwaukee GermanFest – 2021 event Canceled. Save the date for July 29-31, 2022!  Wear your best lederhosen and polka the night away. Make sure to drab a stein and stay for the fireworks on Friday and Saturday night! Visit German Fest for more information.

Milwaukee Irish Fest – August 20-22, 2021. Celebrate the luck of the Irish at the Henry Maier Festival Park and enjoy the fireworks to close off yet another successful festival. Visit Irish Fest for more details.

4th of July Parades and Fireworks

Milwaukee County

Milwaukee Lakefront – Milwaukee’s annual July 3 fireworks will be postponed again until 2022. Veteran’s Park, 1010 N. Lincoln Memorial Drive. Fireworks will light up the sky above Lake Michigan at dusk.

Brown DeerJuly 4th, 2021. All activities will be held at the Village Park and Pond, 4920 W. Green Brook Dr, Brown Deer, WI 53223. Pond Open 12 – 5 pm. Cornhole Tournament will take place at 12 pm. The beer tent will be open from 12 – 8 pm and Food Trucks & Corn Roast will be available from  1 – 8 pm. Entertainment lineup: Valerie B & The Boyz 1 – 3:45 pm/ 1884 Schoolhouse Museum 3 – 6pm/ BINGO 3 – 8pm/ Brewtown Beat 5 – 8pm. Fireworks will take place at 9:30 pm.

Cudahy – July 4th, 2021. Parade at noon, starting at Grange Ave. and Packard Ave. The parade ends at the library, where there will be performances until 6 pm, followed by fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Franklin – July 4th, 2021. Children’s parade starts at 10:30 am with the main parade at 11:00 am, starting at W. Loomis Road and Forest Hill Ave. Fireworks at 9:30 pm at Lion’s Legend Park. Bleachers will not be available this year. Plus, be sure to check out their Three Day Civic Celebration, Friday, July 2nd through Sunday, July 4th.

Glendale – July 4th, 2021. The parade will take place, socially distanced, along the Milwaukee River Parkway from Parkway Elementary School to the pavilion in Kletzsch Park, beginning at 3:00 pm. Food truck festival from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Fireworks at dusk at Kletzsch Park.

Greendale – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 9:30 am. Fireworks at dusk in downtown Greendale across from Gazebo Park at the Historic Hose Tower. Be sure to also check out their Greendale Family Fest, Thursday, July 1st through Sunday, July 4th.

Greenfield – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 12:15 pm. Stop by the AMP house after the parade for free ice cream while supplies last.  Fireworks at dusk, approximately 9:45 PM, at Konkel Park.

Hales Corners – July 4th, 2021. Children’s parade at 9 AM, followed by the Big Parade at 4:00 pm, starting at Janesville Rd at 110th St. and ending at Village Hall. Fireworks at dusk at Hales Corners Park. Check the committee’s Facebook page for additional events and updates.

Alcott – July 5th, 2021. No daytime activities this year. Fireworks at 9:15pm.

Enderis – July 5th, 2021. Parade at 9:00 am, departing from Enderis Park Field House. Activities to follow. No fireworks show.

Gordon – July 5th, 2021. No daytime activities this year. Fireworks at 9:15pm.

Humboldt – July 5th, 2021. Fireworks at 9:15pm. No other events this year.

Jackson – July 5th, 2021. No daytime activities this year. Fireworks at 9:15pm.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center -July 5th, 2021. Games, prizes, and a community talent contest beginning at 11:00 am. No fireworks.

Lake  – July 5th, 2021. No daytime activities this year. Fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Lincoln – July 5th, 2021. No daytime activities this year. Fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Mitchell – July 5th, 2021. No daytime activities this year. Fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Noyes – July 5th, 2021. No daytime activities this year. Fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Sherman July 5th, 2021. No daytime activities this year. Fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Washington – July 5th, 2021. No daytime activities this year. Fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Wilson – July 5th, 2021. No daytime activities this year. Fireworks at 9:15 pm.

Oak Creek – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 9 am. Decorate those bikes, wagons, and strollers and enter the decorating contest! Numerous other activities. Fireworks at dusk at Lake Vista Park.

Shorewood – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 3 pm along N. Oakland Ave. from Kensington Blvd. to River Park. Fireworks at 9:30 pm at Atwater Park. Masks strongly recommended.

South Milwaukee July 4th, 2021. Fireworks at 9:30 pm at Grant Park.

St. Francis – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 2:00 pm beginning at the St. Francis Civic Center. Fireworks at 9:15 pm at Milt Vretenar Municipal Park.

Wauwatosa – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 9:00 am on July 5th along W. North Ave from 80th to 104th. Fireworks at 9:15 pm at Hart Park.

West Allis – Parade: Friday, July 2nd, 2021, 7:00 pm. Fireworks: Sunday, July 4, 2021. Grandstand Show at State Fair Park at 8:30 PM, followed by fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Whitefish Bay – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 11:30 am starting at N. Kent Ave. and W. Silver Spring Drive. Fireworks at 9:30 pm at Klode Park.

Ozaukee County

Cedarburg – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 10:00 am beginning at Fireman’s Park. Check the website for a revised parade route to accommodate social distancing. Please note that chair placement and seat saving are not allowed until 8:00 am this year. Fireworks at dusk at Cedar Creek Park.

Grafton HolidazeSaturday, July 3rd, 2021. Parade at 11:00 am starting at Grafton High School. Fireworks at dusk, approximately 9:30 PM, at Lime Kiln Park.

Port Washington – July 3rd, 2021. Bike decorating contest at 11:00 am and fireworks at dusk at the Coal Dock Park.

SaukvilleJuly 4th, 2021. Parade at 1 pm and fireworks at dusk at Peninsula Park.

Washington County

Germantown – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 3:00 pm by the post office to Park Street. Fireworks at 9:30 pm at Firemen’s Park.

HartfordJuly 4th, 2021. Parade at 2 pm starting on North Main. Fireworks at dusk at Gib Mahr Field.

Kewaskum – July 3rd, 2021. Fireworks at dusk at River Hill Park. Spots on the hill may be reserved starting at 6:00 am on July 1.

West Bend – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 9:30 am followed by free root beer floats for kids 12 and under. Fireworks at 9:45 pm at Riverside Park.

Waukesha County

Brookfield – July 3rd, 2021. Parade at 10 am, followed by the annual city-wide Ice Cream Social and Family Fest on the Civic Plaza. Fireworks at approximately 9:17 pm at Mitchell Park.

ButlerJuly 4th, 2021. Parade at 2 pm and fireworks at dusk at Frontier Park.

Delafield – July 3rd, 2021. Fireworks begin at 9:30 pm over Lake Nagawicka. Rain date: July 5th.

Elm Grove – July 4th, 2021. Fireworks at 9:30 pm at Village Park. Click here for a list of all events.

Menomonee Falls – July 3rd, 2021. There will not be a parade this year.  Fireworks at dusk at Menomonee Falls High School.

Muskego – July 3rd, 2021. Fireworks at dusk at Idle Isle Park.

New Berlin 4th of July Family Festival – July 4th, 2021. Mini parade at 9:30 am (lineup at 9:00 am) in City Hall parking lot and main parade at 1 pm on National Avenue. Fireworks at 10:00 pm at Malone Park.

Oconomowoc – July 4th, 2021.  Boat parade at 8:30 pm. Boats that wish to participate must be decorated and meet at party island at 8:00 pm. The parade will be followed by fireworks at dusk on Okauchee Lake.

Pewaukee – July 4th, 2021. Parade at 3:00 pm through downtown. Fireworks at 9:30 pm over Pewaukee Lake.
