The Ultimate Guide to Brunch in Milwaukee

Milwaukee is a foodie’s dream for top brunch locations! While we all have our personal favorite brunch go-tos, there are so many amazing restaurants around Milwaukee. So, next weekend, we dare you to try somewhere new! To help guide you to a new favorite, we  gathered our local mama’s and pulled together this list of some favorites.

Beans and Barley – Offering weekend brunch from 9am-2pm. Their menu includes a wide selection of both vegan and gluten-free options.

Belfre Kitchen – Located in one of the oldest existing buildings (a former church) in Delafield, it’s certainly worth the drive if you don’t live out West. Serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-2pm.

Black Sheep – This place is definitely more than a wine bar! Weekend brunch includes local favorites, ranging from light, healthy options to heart-stopping piles of bacon.

Blue’s Egg – This place is an institution. Dubliner Eggs Benedict with corned beef, their signature stuffed hash browns, and so much more. Blue’s Egg is famous for taking brunch to a whole new level.

Brunch It Up –  You can’t go wrong with a flight of bacon! Located both in Milwaukee & Brookfield. And, the kids will love their s’more’s pancake!

Café at the Plaza – Take a step inside this little diner, and you’ll feel right at home. The vintage café is a local Milwaukee treasure – as is their carryout brunch selection!

Café Benelux – Milwaukee Third Ward. It’s hard to choose between the cinnamon streusel french toast or the savory Nashville chicken and waffle! And of course, for the grown-ups, a Bloody with Milwaukee’s own Rehorst garlic-infused vodka.

Café Centraal – They celebrate the rich experience of travel—of cultures blending and creating new sensory experiences through an eclectic mix of global cuisines.

Café Corazon – Choose from one of their three locations – Riverwest, Bayview, or Mequon.

Café Hollander – With five locations in Tosa, Downer Ave, The Corners at Brookfield, Mequon, and even one in Madison, Hollander is a can’t miss brunch stop. Because beignets

Crawdaddy’s  – A West Allis staple that serves up a hearty dose of brunch favorites, including benedicts and biscuits & gravy. 

Company Brewing – Brewery meets brunch! Saturday and Sunday brunch from 11am-3pm.

Gingerbread House – Located in Muskego with a kitschy vibe, backed up with yummy food.

Golden Nest – Golden Nest offers something for everyone. Super kid-friendly and welcoming. They even deliver your food to your table with a real-life robot! The kids will love it.

Goddess & The Baker – Treat the kids to their rainbow cake for breakfast and indulge in a caramel cookie butter latte.

Hubbard Park Lodge – Located in Shorewood, the brunch buffet at Hubbard Park Lodge is a weekend favorite. Brunch is only on Sundays from 9am-1pm and is very kid-friendly.

The Knick – A Milwaukee staple with delicious brunch on Sundays from 9am-2:30pm.

Le Reve – Their French delicacies are mouth-watering. Be sure to leave room for dessert. Trust us.

Mad Rooster Café – Right down the street from Miller Park, Mad Rooster is wonderful and very kid-friendly. I love the Brunch Burger, and the kid’s menu is awesome. And be sure to check out “The Hangover,” a plate designed specifically for those mornings.

Matty’s Bar – The Super Weekend Breakfast served up 9 AM-1 PM with traditional favorites.

McBob’s – May I suggest the Corned Beef Hash? Corned beef is what McBob’s is famous for, after all.

Midtown Grill – Located in the heart of Tosa, Midtown Grill offers breakfast favorites all day! Try their pancakes or waffles, they’re delish!

Mimosa – A Franklin favorite, now with a Brookfield location! Their menu features locally-sourced, organic ingredients. Each of their traditional brunch favorites includes a special “Mimosa” twist.

Miss Molly’s Café –  Breakfast is served all day with delicious options that changes out seasonally. Make sure to add a pastry to your order. Trust us!

MJ Stevens – Great stop for the “North of the City” folk in Hartford. Sunday brunch is from 10am-2:00pm, and reservations are highly recommended!

Original Pancake House – A kid favorite with a never-ending list of delicious pancakes.

Sabrosa Café + Gallery – Try the caramel apple french toast if you want something sweet or the carnivore scrambler if you need something filling!

Story Hill BKC – Owned by the same folks as Blue’s Egg and Maxies. The menu here changes seasonally, and the daily specials are amazing. They sell out FAST, so go early and don’t delay!

Sweet Diner – May I suggest the crepes? They’re delicious. They have a gluten-free and vegan options, as well.

Uncle Wolfie’s Breakfast Tavern – Traditional tavern combined with a fresh, classic menu.

Urban Beets – Their 100% vegan menu includes whole and unprocessed foods. Locations downtown and in Wauwatosa.
