Workout Motivation: A Wantable.com Fitness Review

0

WANTABLE FITNESSI love working out! Since becoming a mom, I have worked really hard to find the time and balance to continue to make it a priority. It is my favorite way to clear my head and it helps me keep up with my active children.

But let’s be honest, it is a challenge to find that balance and to maintain a routine.

There are a few things that consistently get me back on track and keep me moving. Those things are signing up for running events (because then I have to train), sprinkling in a class to keep it exciting, and of course, cute workout clothes!! I love how a new pair of running shoes or a fresh outfit get me motivated to get back out for a run or into the gym.

Recently, I was given the opportunity to receive a Wantable Fitness box. Full disclosure, I have never tried an apparel subscription box before.  I’ve been skeptical of how well an online stylist would tailor to my size, shape and preferences. But I was excited not only to see how the process worked, but also to add some new fitness apparel to my wardrobe.

Here’s how Wantable works.

For a $20 styling fee, an expert personal stylist will put together a box of items based on your profile and preferences. This styling fee will be applied as a credit towards anything you choose to keep from the box. And if you choose to keep everything, you will receive an extra 20% discount. You keep what you like and send back what you don’t within 5 days in a provided, prepaid envelope.

After creating your account, you are asked to take a quiz. Not only will you select your preferences for tops vs. bottoms, colors and activities you are interested in, but you can also choose what price points get sent to you. Only what you have chosen as “like” or “love” will be considered for your box. Anything that you choose as “dislike” will not be included. I love this part of the quiz, especially for the price points. I would not enjoy receiving a box full of items outside of my budget. This keeps that from happening!

Here is what I received in my first box.

Flynn High Rise Capri Legging in Grey Moss Cam0
Sunset Legging in Aquarius/Lagoon Chevron
Long Essential Legging in Black-White
Arrow Tank in White
Mood Tank in Sunny Lime
Mudra Bra in Black
Bomber Jacket in Black

My Wantable Fitness Edit was an amazing success!

I am the queen of a good running tight or workout legging and the three that I received from Wantable did not disappoint. I love that each of them are high rise and stay in place for a workout. They are all made out of soft, breathable fabric. The tank tops are super soft with fun, trendy details. What I love the most about both of these is that they are just as fabulous for errands or hanging around the house as they are for a workout! The fitness bra is highly functional while still being cute.

The biggest surprise in my fitness box was the bomber jacket! It is not something that I would have naturally picked up for myself in a store but I am so happy that they included it in my box. I can see myself wearing this to and from the gym and as a layering piece for walks with my daughters.
