The interface of GoPeer has been so simple to use! After our initial chat, I was able to easily schedule our first 30 minute virtual tutoring session with Emilynn. I dropped a PDF in our chat from my son’s teacher so she could see what they’ve been doing in class and how he’s been breezing past it. I received notifications both via text and in the app to remind me of our session and we were able to use my son’s iPad to access the “classroom” where he and Emilynn could interact.
Our GoPeer Tutor used the screen to present problems for my kiddo to solve to gauge his current skill level and interest. I stepped back and got out of the way while they worked through math problems well above his grade level and noticing how engaged and interested he was during the entire session. We did a 30 minute session, but I have no doubt that the 1 hour session option would also have been easy! He was amazed by how quickly the time flew by.
