Lake Geneva Electric Christmas Parade Returns to Downtown Lake Geneva on December 4th
Pour the hot cocoa, grab the coziest blankets, and get ready for the most holly jolly parade of the holiday season! On December 4th, the holiday spirit hits the streets at the Lake Geneva Electric Christmas Parade. Starting at 5 pm, the parade will once again light up the night as brilliantly illuminated floats wind through the downtown district, stepping off at the intersection of William and Marshall Streets before heading down Broad and Main Streets. The anticipation will build for the final float, with none other than Santa and Mrs. Claus riding a firetruck to wrap up the parade, wishing a “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
Make a more comprehensive visit to Lake Geneva and take the time to stroll through the downtown area where you’ll be able to enjoy dozens of fanciful holiday window displays at shops and boutiques, with people voting on their favorite at www.streetsoflakegeneva.com. Voting runs through Dec. 17. This year’s parade theme is “Christmas Classics: Movies, Music & Stories,” with the window displays coordinating perfectly under the theme of “It’s a Wonderful Lake Life.”
The parade, produced by VISIT Lake Geneva in partnership with presenting sponsor Kunes Auto Group, also has a giving component, with this year’s recipient being the Walworth County Food & Diaper Bank. Donating is easy, with donations accepted online.
The Lake Geneva Electric Christmas Parade is a unique and fun way to enjoy holiday lights and promises to be a truly wonderful evening for all!
