Here’s our favorite local miniature golf courses in the Milwaukee area for Kids and for Grown-ups. Pack your patience and your sense of humor, and get ready to tee off for fun!

MILWAUKEE AREA MINI GOLF COURSES FOR KIDS & FAMILIES

These Milwaukee area miniature golf courses don’t take themselves too seriously and are designed less for perfecting your putt and more for classic family fun. 

Remember to check websites for hours and policies. Sometimes weather can affect a course’s hours. 

SWING TIME – Waukesha 

At Swing Time, 19 holes of miniature golf await you, all with the backdrop of a pirate village. Be careful not to hit your ball into the water – it might be swallowed by the shark! Lots of creative holes and water features, plus a driving range on site is available for those who want to take their game a little more seriously. This popular mini golf course in Waukesha also features batting cages so you can add some extra “swings” to your outing.

PRAIRIEVILLE PARK – Waukesha 

If Adventure Mini Golf is your style of play, then Prairieville Park is the perfect pick. The 18-hole mini golf course is where golfers of all ages get a chance to test their skills at water features including ponds, creeks, and  waterfalls, plus there is a large mountain at the center of the course and obstacles along the fairway to give you an exciting challenge. There are also five batting cages, as well as tournament and party options available. 

KRAZY GOLF – Waukesha

NEW IN 2024! A brand new addition to the mini golf scene, this indoor golf course in downtown Waukesha aims to be where the fusion of golf and excitement reaches new heights! Krazy Golf is a 13-hole + 2 bonus holes extravaganza of twists, turns, and laughter, designed for golf pros, novices, and everyone in between. 

Later in the evening, Krazy Golf becomes Krazy Golf After Dark, a great spot for grown-ups to enjoy a night out on the town, but with mini golf!

STONEWATER VILLAGE AT MOORLAND ROAD GOLF CENTER – New Berlin

This course is straight up GORGEOUS and also super cool! Set in a picturesque location (especially in fall!), there is a year-round driving range, a golf simulator, and lessons available for the more serious players. 

Stonewater Village Mini Golf is an 18-hole course perfect for mini golfers of all ages and skill levels. The unique course design features Farmer Ray’s Barn, the Moorland Moonshine Express, and the Wise Wizard guarding the Mill House. Be sure to throw a penny in the Wishing Well for extra luck! The real stars of this course are the elevation changes, scenic views of the surrounding valley and local farms, and the custom stained glass pieces throughout the course. Be sure to grab some Cedar Crest Ice Cream at the Dairy Bar before you leave!

BIG PUTTS MINI GOLF – Greenfield

Since its opening in 2022, this large INDOOR mini golf course has been making quite a name for itself … literally! The silly Big Putts name is backed up by the quirky decor inside, including the giant dinosaur photo op at the end of your course! There’s also an on-site arcade for the kiddos who are interested in earning some cool prizes with their gaming skills. Big Putts has been described as a “hidden gem,” so definitely go check it out!

GASTRAU’S GOLF CENTER – Oak Creek 

Gastrau’s Golf Center has a driving range and lots of resources for the serious golfer, but the Mini Golf course is for the beginner AND the pro! With water around nearly every corner, this course presents a unique challenge for every skill level. Whether it’s a family affair, or a fierce competition between friends, this is a must try course. Kids age 15 and under are only $6, so this is a super affordable course too.

Nine Below is not your typical mini golf course. It’s a build-your-own mini golf tavern! Reserve your Tee Time for a 2-hour session at Nine Below and before you even hit a ball, you’ll design and build your own mini golf hole using Nine Below’s wide variety of obstacles, edge pieces, and trap elements. Once you’ve set up your course, you’ll rotate through 9-holes, consisting of the mini golf hole you created, plus eight other holes designed by the teams in your round. Every time you play, the course is as different as the personalities of the golfers who build it. As you can imagine, combining this level of creativity with the fully stocked bar and fun vibes makes for an unforgettable experience! Perfect for bachelor and bachelorette parties, by the way.
