Home For The Holidays 2025

Home for the Holidays takes place December 6–7 and 13–14, 2025, on select Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM. Guests can stroll through the charming village, enjoy classic holiday sights and sounds, and take part in interactive activities that bring 19th-century traditions to life.

New This Year: Breakfast with Santa

For the first time, families can begin their day with Breakfast with Santa inside the rustic Clausing Barn. This festive morning includes a buffet of French toast, eggs, bacon, pastries, and more. After breakfast, children can meet Santa, take photos, and bring home special gifts. Breakfast tickets include full admission to all Home for the Holidays activities. Advance registration is required.

Activities and Experiences

Home for the Holidays offers a wide range of family-friendly experiences, including:

19th-Century Santa’s Workshop: Meet rosy-cheeked St. Nicholas and explore his toy workshop filled with historic charm.

Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides: Relax on a storybook winter wagon ride complete with jingling bells. (Additional tickets required.)

Holiday Crafts: Create handmade ornaments, holiday greenery, and letters to Santa alongside skilled demonstrators.

Tasty Delights and Festive Brews: Warm up with soups, pot pies, hot cocoa, wassail, festive brews, and seasonal treats.

Julblock Photo Spot: Capture a one-of-a-kind family photo with the larger-than-life Scandinavian straw goat.

Yuletide Characters: Meet whimsical figures from winter folklore, including friendly gnomes and classic Christmas characters.

Gingerbread House Contest: Join the all-new competition where participants build gingerbread houses inspired by iconic Old World Wisconsin buildings.

Warm Drinks at Wittnebel’s Tavern: Stop into the historic tavern for warm beverages and holiday cheer.

Christmas Music: Enjoy holiday favorites and singalong moments with the talented Brass Knuckles quintet.

Holiday Merchandise: Visit the Ramsey Barn to shop for unique ornaments, books, home goods, cold-weather gear, and other gifts you won’t find anywhere else.
