A GIFT THAT LASTS ALL YEAR | ZOO PASS & HOW IT WORKS

0

The holidays are here and that means the to-do list is getting longer and longer. One of the huge stressors is buying gifts for family, friends and coworkers, and don’t forget about giving your loved ones a list of what you want. There are endless possibilities for gifts but only one that will last a year and result in precious family memories. A Zoo Pass to the Milwaukee County Zoo means free regular admission for 12 months. The Zoo is open every season of the year, and there is always something to enjoy. Sometimes it’s just a matter of getting out of the house and taking a quick walk. A family Zoo Pass pays for itself after two visits.

Other benefits of a Zoo Pass

In addition to regular admission for a year, Zoo Pass members are invited to two free summer-time events just for them. The evening events include food trucks, entertainment and, of course, animals.

Want to experience the train, carousel or summer exhibit at the Zoo? Zoo Pass members have electronic coupons on their Zoo Pass that can give them access. New members receive 4 coupons each good for one ticket.

Members also receive special discounts on attractions like the virtual reality exhibit, the ropes course, and the Sky Safari.

Members can register for Zoo Classes and Camps before the general public, plus they get a discount!

Going on a trip? Your Zoo Pass can get you free or discounted admission to more than 150 other zoos and aquariums nationwide.

When you are at the Zoo, show your Zoo Pass to get 10% off at the gift shop.

Other benefits include free or discounted events inside the Zoo, a subscription to Wild Things newsletter and Alive magazine and calendar filled with inside stories about the Zoo.

Something for everyone!

If you haven’t been to the Zoo in a while, or even if you have, there is much to see and enjoy at each visit! A new male giraffe recently moved in and is hitting it off with the rest of the tower. As it warms up be sure to go face to face with Happy the hippo in his pool. Only a piece of glass separates you, giving you a view you’ll never get tired of. Or, witness the Zoo’s largest snake, a green anaconda named Olive. And the big cats are sure to take your breath away, whether it’s the jaguar, lionesses or majestic tigers. The Zoo is home to more than 2,000 animals and 330 species. More animals continue to come into the Zoo, and new projects are underway to make a better home for animals and a better space for you to learn about the wonder of nature.

Your Zoo Pass makes a difference

You can feel good about becoming a member knowing that the Milwaukee County Zoo receives 50% of the gross income from each Zoo Pass,  which allows them to care for the animals and keep the Zoo a top destination.

Plus, a Zoo Pass is a good conservation gift. Money for the Zoo Pass helps the Zoo and the Zoological Society of Milwaukee participate in conservation work here in Milwaukee and around the globe. You also don’t need to worry about using a lot of wrapping paper, which is good for everyone.
