KIDS GET IN FREE AT OLD WORLD WISCONSIN THIS SUMMER…

Families can enjoy a summer filled with history, hands-on activities, and outdoor exploration at Old World Wisconsin. To celebrate the museum’s 50th season, children receive free admission on Wednesdays from June 10 through August 26.

Located in Eagle, Wisconsin, Old World Wisconsin is set on 600 acres of woodlands, prairie, and wetlands in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. The living history museum features more than 60 authentically restored historic homes, farms, stores, and workshops that bring Wisconsin’s past to life.

Explore Wisconsin History

Visitors can travel through time from the 1840s to the 1910s while exploring historic buildings and meeting costumed interpreters. Along the way, families can learn how early Wisconsin residents lived, worked, and built their communities.

Hands-On Family Fun

Old World Wisconsin offers interactive experiences for all ages. Kids can meet farm animals, watch sparks fly in the blacksmith shop, enjoy an old-fashioned soda water from the general store, and discover traditional crafts and trades. Visitors can even learn how beer was made in Wisconsin’s early communities.

Explore at Your Own Pace

Historic areas are conveniently located within walking distance of one another, allowing families to stroll through the grounds and enjoy the scenery. Complimentary tram service is also available for guests who prefer to ride between sites.
