(Milwaukee, WI): Like each of Milwaukee Recreation’s previous playfield renovations, community feedback was essential to this project, helping guide the design process and creating a sense of ownership for the surrounding neighborhood. Thanks to your input—gathered through on-site events and online surveys—the new design reflects the needs and ideas of the people who use it most.

Playfield renovations began in 2024. All community members are welcome at the renovated Modrzejewski Playfield—a space built for play, connection, and community.
In addition to the initial renovations, the far north end of the playfield will be updated as part of the KK River Corridor Project in the future. This will include river views and connections to the proposed KK River Trail.
