Halloween is back at the Milwaukee Zoo with Boo at the Zoo, now expanded to two weekends: October 17-19 and October 24-26. This family-friendly event offers a mix of Halloween fun, live animals, and interactive activities suitable for kids of all ages.
Event Highlights
Trick-or-Treat Trail: Explore Adventure Africa and stop at six sweet stations. Bring your own treat bags, as they are not provided.
Animal Encounters: Visit open indoor animal buildings, including the Aquatic & Reptile Center, Dairy Complex, Elephant Care Center, Big Cat Country, Primates of the World, Small Mammals Building, and Sterns Family Apes of Africa. (Outdoor animals are not viewable for their safety.)
Halloween Fun: Enjoy pumpkin-carving demonstrations, light shows, the Candy Corn Farmer’s Market, Pumpkin Park, Haunted Hollow, and hundreds of carved pumpkins at the Gourd Gallery.
Science and Education: Stop by Mad Science of Milwaukee for eerie experiments and learn about animals through Halloween-themed conservation activities.
Family Entertainment: Navigate the Harvest Haystack Maze and catch performances by stilt walkers.
Food and Drinks: A variety of food and beverages will be available, including allergy-friendly options.

- Parking: Included (a $15 value)
Zoo Pass members save 15% online using code trick along with their membership number. Tickets must be pre-purchased and are valid only for the date selected. Limited tickets are available online until sold out.

Costumes are encouraged for all ages! Families are reminded to keep outfits family-friendly and fun, not scary.
