CHECK OUT HOYT TOSA POOL THIS SUMMER

0

It’s no secret that we’re big fans of Tosa so it should come as no surprise that we’re big fans of TOSA Pool. It’s also no secret that summer in Milwaukee is a time to get out and enjoy the sunshine as much as we can. That’s why the TOSA Pool is where you can find our family taking in summer.

ZERO-DEPTH FOR KIDS 48″ & UNDER

As one of the bigger pools in the Milwaukee area, TOSA Pool is fantastic for the entire family. They have a zero-depth water area for kids 48″ and under. The area features water sprayers, a double slide (which is so fun for racing!), a mini tube slide, a big water dump bucket and fountain sprayers. The other side of the pool has a larger water slide and diving boards for the bigger kids, who can pass the swimming test.

While the area for smaller kids is a zero-depth, many of the kids still wear floaties. My pictures here are a little deceiving because you can’t tell that in these photos. If you have a kid that’s not really comfortable in water or a strong swimmer, I’d highly recommend that they wear a floatie. On a weekend day, it can get pretty crowded and I always lean on the more cautious side.

LARGE SAND PLAY AREA WITH WATER SPRAYERS

There is also a large sand play area with water sprayers, sand diggers and lots of other sand toys. My boys are big sand kids so sometimes we go to play in the same only. MILWAUKEE FAMILY Tip: The sand area is much, much less crowded after 3PM or during evening open swim times. You’ll get your pick of the sand toys!

POOL-SIDE CLIMBING WALL & DIVING BOARDS

For bigger kids, Hoyt Pool also features a pool-side climbing wall and diving boards. Unfortunately, this isn’t an area we’ve explored much yet but I have lots of friends who’s kids spend hours on that climbing wall.

If you’re looking to get the best bang for your buck, consider a season pass – which we find to work best for our family. The family membership is $295 and you can also add on a caregiver pass for an additional $55. This is especially nice for families with caregivers, nannies or grandparents for the summer. Individual memberships are $100. K

Our personal favorite benefit for the season pass is the early entry into the pool for daytime swim! This is, by far, the best benefit in our opinion. We keep our pass for this reason and this reason alone! On the weekends, it’s a major bonus to get into the pool an early to enjoy that time before lunchtime and to also get “first dibs” on chairs before the pool gets super crowded. On hot summer days, this is so worth it!

I hope to see you out at the pool this summer, soaking up some rays and having fun with the kiddos!
