With weather-proof play, seasonal activities and additional play time during winter break, Betty Brinn Children’s Museum is your family’s winter wonderland! Check out what’s happening at the Museum in December.
SNOWYARD POP-UP
Visit the brand new Snowyard pop-up for sock skating, snowman and fort building, and wintery Be A Maker projects like creating your own 3-D polar bear! The Snowyard will be open early December through mid-February.
TWO EXTRA DAYS OF PLAY
Take advantage of two extra days of play during the Milwaukee Public Schools winter break. The Betty Brinn Children’s Museum will be open on Tuesday, December 23 and Tuesday, December 30 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
COCOA & CLAUS
Santa will be stopping by the Museum for Cocoa & Claus on Saturday, December 20 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Families are invited to cozy up for Santa story time, sip on hot cocoa provided by Stone Creek Coffee, and snap a festive family photo. Kiddos will also be able to construct a tinker tree and cocoa-catapult in the Be A Maker space. Special event tickets are $20 for non-members and $8 for Museum members.
NEW YEAR’S EVE AT NOON
Dive into 2026 at the annual Betty Brinn Children’s Museum New Year’s Eve at Noon on December 31 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Soak up the fun by making confetti poppers, wishing wand noisemakers and party hats. Then, rock a fun face painting at the Beach Ball Dance Bash featuring tunes from Kid Boogie Down. Celebrate the new year early with a beach ball drop and juice toast at noon. Member-exclusive hours will take place 9-11 a.m. New Year’s Eve at Noon tickets are $20 for non-members and $10 for Museum members.
SPECIAL EVENT TICKETS
Entrance to the Museum during Cocoa & Claus and New Year’s Eve at Noon will require special event tickets. Standard general admission rates will not be available during event hours.
