Victory of the Lamb’s Touch-A-Truck Event Returns to Franklin This July
If your kids can’t get enough of big trucks, emergency vehicles, and construction equipment, you’ll want to add this free event to your summer calendar.
Victory of the Lamb is bringing back its Family Night featuring Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, July 18, from 4:00–6:30 p.m. at its Franklin campus (11120 W. Loomis Road).
After drawing more than 700 people last year, the event is returning with even more for families to enjoy. Kids will have the chance to climb inside and explore more than two dozen vehicles while meeting the people who drive and operate them. Bell Ambulance is one of several community organizations returning after last year’s successful event.

Beyond the trucks, there will be plenty to keep little ones busy. Families can enjoy bounce houses, games, a free construction hat station, and live music throughout the evening.
Come hungry, too! Local favorites Phoenix Bar & Grill, Mr. P’s Grilled Cheese, and Pine Acres General Store will be on-site with food available for purchase. The first 500 guests will also receive a free ice cream, courtesy of Victory of the Lamb and Pine Acres.
One family who attended last year said the event quickly became a favorite.
“It was really neat to see all the different trucks up close and have our son get to sit in them,” said attendee Kayla Dykstra. “All of the volunteers were so welcoming and helpful. The event is full of community and fun.”
Victory of the Lamb says the goal is simply to create a space where families can spend time together, meet neighbors, and enjoy a fun summer evening.
The event is free and open to everyone, and no registration is needed. Overflow parking will be available at Polonia Soccer Club (10200 W. Loomis Road), with a complimentary shuttle running throughout the event.
