Enjoy a Crisp Winter Day at the Milwaukee County Zoo — Free Admission…

Bundle up and enjoy a winter visit to the Milwaukee County Zoo during an upcoming Family Free Day. On Saturday, January 3, all guests receive free Zoo admission (parking and regular attraction fees still apply).

Warm up indoors or explore the outdoor habitats while visiting some of the Zoo’s most popular residents, including Eastern black rhinos Kianga and Zuri in the new Ladish Co. Foundation Rhino Care Center, and Happy the hippo.

Help Wildlife While You Visit

Guests can also take part in a seasonal conservation effort by recycling old or broken holiday lights during their visit. Look for the collection bin in the U.S. Bank Gathering Place through January 11, 2026.
