(Milwaukee, WI): It’s that time of year, we get to welcome spring with cute dresses and little sweater vests! The kids are bouncing off the walls – like bunnies! – and are ready to get out of the house. What a perfect way to kick off the season with egg hunts and Easter celebrations!

March 31- April 8, 10:30 am to 5 pm (til 2 pm April 8) – The Smiley Barn in Delafield isn’t your ordinary toy store. They carry the kinds of specialty toys you won’t find just anywhere, a selection of new and old-school candies—and this April, they have got Easter activities galore like Bunny Petting! Celebrate Easter with real Holland Lop bunnies at The Smiley Barn!

April 1 at 10 am – Cedarburg Easter Egg Hunt | Cedar Creek Park. Dress for the weather! Hunt will occur rain or shine and is a free event.

April 1 at 8 am – North Shore Kiwanis Annual Pancake Breakfast with the Bunny | Glendale – Come celebrate Spring at the North Shore Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast with the Bunny on Saturday, April 2, 8:00 to 11:00 am. Buy Tickets in Advance.

April 1 – Bunny Hop (Greenfield) | FREE family friendly event! The Easter Bunny will be hopping through Greenfield on a festive float and bringing along some special guests. The route will take them by select parks and schools where the Bunny Squad will be handing out goody bags to children 12 and under (while supplies last) and registering them for the raffle (one entry/child). Goody bags include fun activities to keep kids busy while they wait for the Easter Bunny to hop on by. 12:00pm Parade and activities from 4:00-6:00 pm.

April 1 at 8:30 and 10:30 am – Oak Creek Community Easter Egg Hunt | The Oak Creek Celebration Commission will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for children under 12 on Saturday, April 1 at Henry Miller Park.  There will be an egg hunt at 8:30 am and at 10:30 am sharp. The Oak Creek High School Culinary Dept. will be serving a hot pancake breakfast in the High School Cafeteria. 

April 1 at 11 am – Children’s Easter Party | The Avanti Committee invites you to the Children’s Easter Party at the Italian Community Center in the Festa Ballroom. Come for Brunch, Games, & Friends! Tickets available here.

April 8 from 9:30 – 11:00 am – Tosa East Town Spring Egg Hunt | This year’s Spring Egg Hunt, sponsored by Ruckus and Glee, is scheduled for Saturday, April 8. The TETNA member event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with refreshments and crafts in the pavilion at Center Street Park. The egg hunt starts at 10 a.m. in the field with a staggered start to allow younger participants a chance to find eggs first. A separate hunt will be offered for kids younger than 2. Special guest the Easter Bunny will make an appearance again this year. Come join the fun! If you aren’t already a member and wish to participate in this event, join now or you can pay your $10 dues at the event.

April 8 at 12:00 pm – Bayshore Bunny Hop and Egg Hunt | Celebrate Spring at BAYSHORE’s 2nd annual Bunny Hop & Egg Hunt presented by Kilwins Milwaukee-Bayshore! Our festivities will be held on Saturday, April 8th from 12 – 2 pm. Egg Hunt will start at 1:00 pm with special treats and offers from Kilwins and an exquisite Golden Egg filled with a certificate for Kilwins Original Recipe Ice Cream for a year, and treats and special offers from Bayshore retailers. Kid Boogie Down will get you dancing with the Easter Bunny (and get your photo too) and festive characters from Fairytale Birthday Company.

April 1 at 10 am to Noon – Mukwonago Lions Club Egg Hunt | The Mukwonago Lions Club is proud to present the annual Easter Egg Hunt for kids ages 2-9!

April 8 at 9:30 am, 11:30 am and 1:30 pm – Spring Egg Hunt & Hike | Join us for a special egg hunt event, Riveredge style! Families are invited to hike a 1/2 mile trail while children encounter stations to gather eggs from. Our eggs are filled with candy-free, nature inspired objects- some include tickets, which can be redeemed for a prize of your child’s choice. After your hike, enjoy the springtime air and play in the natural play area!

When you register, please specify your child’s age- event designed for ages 0 to 10 years. Capacities are limited for children & adults to maintain social distancing and a Covid-Safe environment. **Registration full at the time of publishing, check back for more info.**

April 1, 2 and 8, (various times to select) –  East Troy Railroad Bunny Train | Join us for family fun aboard the East Troy Bunny Train! Board one of our historic trains and take a ride down to the Elegant Farmer. Once on board there will be a scavenger hunt out your windows. At the Elegant Farmer everyone will have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and pose for pictures! On the return trip, all child & toddler ticket holders will receive a stuffed bunny! April 8 – Egg Day at the Zoo | Guests should hippity-hop to the Zoo for a day filled with “egg-straordinary” activities, all with an Easter theme! Some of the highlights include animal egg enrichment, an Easter parade, colorful crafts, and more! Don’t forget to visit your favorite animals, too! Activities are included with Zoo admission.

April 8 at 10am – Town of Brookfield Easter Egg Hunt | All children 8 years old and under are invited to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt. Children will be grouped by ages. We will again have an Easter Egg “Crawl” for the tiny egg-hunters. Bring your own basket and your camera for pictures after the hunt with the Easter Bunny! Don’t be late as this event goes QUICKLY!! Marx Park; 700 S. Barker Rd, Brookfield. Free event.

April 8 from 10 am to 4 pm – EggStravaganza at the Racine Zoo | Gather the little ones and enjoy an Easter-themed day to put a little “spring” in your step! Be sure to bring your own basket for our candy hunt! The event features cookie and egg decorating, a $5 photo with the Easter Bunny, and $2 Zoo Choo rides. Activities included with admission.
