Fox Brook Park is the perfect place to swim, play, hike & picnic this summer!
Fox Brook Park is well known for its swimming beach located around a man-made lake – but it also has a playground and a great hiking area as well! The lake was formed as a result of the gravel pit operation and is approximately 30 feet at the deepest point. The lake has a sandy bottom and clean, warm water to swim in on a hot summer day.
Families can enjoy a day of swimming, scuba diving, or try one of the various rentals available with High Roller Fun Rentals.
Boat Rentals
Floating on the water is a great way to relax during the summer. Whether you take a kayak for yourself, or take the family out in a canoe, rowboat, or paddle boat, High Roller Fun Rentals has some great options at Fox Brook Beach. 223 Acre Park
This 223-acre park consists of 178 acres of wetlands, which are preserved and protected as a natural habitat and open space area. This habitat allows for many bird species – gold finches and indigo buntings to name a few.
One Mile Trail
A one mile trail encircles the lake that includes three lake viewing areas, so you can stop to soak in the wonders of nature. The beauty and tranquility of this park offers a variety of recreational and open space opportunities!
Playground & Picnic Area
The park also features playground equipment, dog swim area and picnic areas including several with grills. The main building has restrooms (locked during off season); additional restrooms can be found off the smaller parking lot for the boat launch, further West into the park.
