Indoor Fun at Whirlyball in Brookfield, WI this Winter

As winter months turn colder, head indoors for family activities at WhirlyBall

As the days get shorter, the weekends get colder, and our favorite outdoor activities are a thing of the past head on over to WhirlyBall in the Brookfield Square Mall for an indoor mecca of family entertainment!

What is WhirlyBall?

WhirlyBall is a game that is a combination of lacrosse, basketball, and hockey that is played while riding in souped-up bumper cars, which we call WhirlyBugs™. It’s the most fun you can have going 4 miles per hour!

How to play WhirlyBall

Two teams of five players face off against each other on a WhirlyBall court. Each player uses a scoop to pick up a Wiffle ball from their WhirlyBug™ and either pass to their teammates or shoot at the goal. Each game lasts a total of ten minutes and the team with the highest score wins. WhirlyBall courts are reserved by the hour, and each hour of play typically can last 4 or 5 games.

Why should your kids play WhirlyBall?

WhirlyBall is an adrenaline pumping, heart-pounding activity. The second you hop in the WhirlyBug, your competitive spirit takes over! The game combines both skill, strategy, and a little bit of luck.

Besides WhirlyBall, the Brookfield location has twelve bowling alleys, a multi-story LaserTag arena, Pop-Up games like Connect 4 and Cornhole, and a full-service restaurant, the Pivot Room!

Fun for Adults

While the kids bounce around on the WhirlyBall court or the bowling lanes, the adults can relax in the Pivot Room, a 75-seat full-service restaurant. It’s not just burgers and fries (although they do have those too), it is an elevated dining experience featuring favorites like the Pivot Chopped salad, hoisin-glazed pork belly tacos, awesome nachos, and filet mignon sliders. The Pivot Room also features 32 craft beer tap handles, an extensive wine list and an innovative cocktail program. There is also lane-side service as well.
