Jazz in the Park Returns for the 2026 Season
(Milwaukee,WI): A beloved Milwaukee summer tradition since 1991, Jazz in the Park returns for another exciting season in 2026. Held every Thursday evening from June through September, the free concert series transforms Cathedral Square Park into a vibrant gathering place in the heart of downtown Milwaukee.
While rooted in jazz, the series has evolved over the years to showcase a diverse lineup of musical genres, including salsa, swing, blues, funk, tribute acts, and crowd-favorite performances that keep audiences dancing all summer long. Produced by East Town Association and presented by Johnson Financial Group, Jazz in the Park remains one of Milwaukee’s most popular and enduring free community events.
New for 2026: Cathedral Square Market on Thursdays
New this year, Cathedral Square Market will take place immediately before Jazz in the Park each Thursday, beginning at 3:00 p.m. The addition creates an extended evening of shopping, dining, entertainment, and community connection in downtown Milwaukee.
The market’s move to Thursdays was inspired by feedback from both vendors and attendees, and East Town Association looks forward to bringing this enhanced experience to Cathedral Square Park throughout the summer season.

VIP Experiences Return for 2026
The popular Jazz in the Park VIP Experience is back for 2026, offering guests a premium way to enjoy the concert series. Thanks to the support of Johnson Financial Group and OnMilwaukee, attendees can reserve a picnic table and enjoy exclusive amenities throughout the evening.
Each VIP table reservation includes seating for up to six guests, access to specialty food ordering, priority drink service, and use of a reserved restroom. VIP packages are available for each concert date and typically sell out quickly.
Guests looking to further elevate their evening can also purchase charcuterie plates from Jetlagged Luxury Experiences.
