TOSA FARMERS MARKET RETURNS FOR 17TH SEASON

TOSA FARMERS MARKET RETURNS FOR 17TH SEASON ON JUNE 6…

Families and community members can once again enjoy fresh produce, local goods, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities as the Tosa Farmers Market returns to Wauwatosa for its 17th season.

The popular market will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon June 6 through October 24 in the Hart Mills Parking Lot near the Little Red Store in Wauwatosa Village.

A Community Tradition Returns

For nearly two decades, the Tosa Farmers Market has connected local farmers, makers, and small businesses with the community. This season, visitors can expect a rotating mix of vendors each week, creating a unique shopping experience throughout the summer and fall.

Shoppers will find fresh produce, locally made products, specialty foods, and handcrafted goods while enjoying the lively atmosphere that has made the market a favorite weekend destination.

Family-Friendly Activities Every Week

In addition to shopping, families can enjoy a variety of activities designed to engage visitors of all ages.

Power of Produce Club

Children ages 5–12 can participate in the Power of Produce (PoP) Club by visiting the market’s Info Booth. Kids receive $2 in tokens to spend on fruits, vegetables, and food-bearing plants, helping them learn where food comes from while encouraging healthy eating habits.

The free program is made possible through the support of Firefly Real Estate, the market’s presenting sponsor.

Outdoor Yoga

Visitors looking to start their Saturday with movement can join Outdoor Yoga hosted by Inner Light Yoga. Classes take place from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. across the bridge near Hart Park, and no registration is required.

Live Music

Local musicians and artists will provide live entertainment each week, creating the perfect backdrop for shopping, enjoying coffee, or spending time with family and friends.

Community Booth

Each week, a local nonprofit or community organization will be featured at the market’s Community Booth, offering information about their mission and ways residents can get involved.

New Sustainability Initiatives

As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability, the Tosa Farmers Market will introduce special activities on select Saturdays throughout the season. Visitors can participate in hands-on experiences such as seed ball kits and other environmentally focused projects designed to promote community engagement and stewardship.

Supporting Families Beyond the Market

The market’s impact extends beyond Saturday mornings. At the end of each market day, vendors donate unsold products that are collected and delivered to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin.

These donations provide thousands of pounds of fresh food each year, helping create convenient meals for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House while caring for hospitalized children.
