(Wisconsin Dells, WI): When you think of the Kalahari Resort – you likely think waterpark. And kids. And adventures. And so on. But did you know that they are also home to a spa that offers a variety of facials, manicures, pedicures and massages?! In addition to this they also offer halotherapy sessions (also known as a salt room).
Spa Kalahari & Salon is located on the first floor of the Kalahari Resort. And because a family vacation should include something for EVERYONE – you (the parents!) can relax and rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit with amazing body treatments, luxurious massage, skin care, nail care and more.
Upon arriving, you will be greeted by a friendly staff member and taken to the relaxation room where you can change into a spa robe and slippers.
And while you wait, they offer complimentary:
- Water / Infused Water
- Hot Teas
- Coffee
And they offer to purchase:
- Wine: Red / White / Blush
- Mimosas
Mothers-to-be can also enjoy all salon services, facials and a prenatal massage. **Please note massage is performed only if you are in your second and third trimester.
Facials
I experienced the ‘Express Facial’ and it was amazing! My skin has never felt better – not to mention it was incredibly relaxing.
Massages
They offer a variety of massage options, including couples massages. I experienced a 25 minute massage… it was so relaxing that I nearly fell asleep.
Nail Services
They offer signature, express and spa manicures and pedicures. In addition, they also offer gel manicures with ‘no-chip’ polish. The hand and arm exfoliation and massage was heavenly!
Halotherapy Sessions
Halotherapy sessions can be added to any service for just $20, it is an immune system booster; an important health benefit in the cold and flu season. Himalayan salt is one of the purest and most valuable salts.

The Kalahari Resort is one of our very favorite Wisconsin destinations. We can’t wait to go back with the family – and when we do, I will definitely be visiting the spa!
